Our Impact

Giving Kids Great Futures.
ACADEMIC SUCCESS

Low-income, regularly attending Club members ages 12 to 17 outperform their peers nationally on school grades. Among teen-aged Club members, 97% expect to graduate from high school. Among teen-aged Club members, 88% expect to complete some kind of post-secondary education, and 71% expect to complete a four-year college degree or higher.
GOOD CHARACTER & CITIZENSHIP

Teens who volunteer are less likely to become pregnant or to use drugs, and are more likely to have positive academic, psychological and occupational well-being. Adolescents who are involved in community service or who volunteer in political activities are more likely as adults to have a strong work ethic, to volunteer and to vote.
HEALTHY LIFESTYLES

More than a third of all young people in the United States are overweight or obese. 45% of Club boys get physical activity every day, compared with 27% of boys nationally. 30% of regularly attending Club girls ages 12 to 15 are physically active every day, exceeding the rate of boys nationally in the same age group (27%).
OPTIMAL CLUB EXPERIENCE = GREATER FUTURES
BETTER OUTCOMES

Members who have a high level of engagement at a Club, meaning they attend two or more days per week, and have an optimal Club Experience, achieve better outcomes than other members who do not meet these criteria.
POSITIVE IMPACT

Kids and teens with an optimal Club Experience are less likely to consume alcohol, engage in fights, participate in more physical activity, and graduate from school on time.
